HAMILTON BULLDOGS TO PLAY ONE MORE GAME AT BELL CENTRE

Adirondack Phantoms vs. Hamilton Bulldogs at the Bell Centre
Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 1 p.m.

The Hamilton Bulldogs, the Montreal Canadiens’ AHL affiliate, will play host to the Adirondack Phantoms at the Bell Centre for the fourth time in team history on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 1 p.m. This event is a presentation of Gillett Entertainment Group.

An enthusiastic crowd of more than 14,700 fans attended the first Bulldogs’ game of the season at the Bell Centre on November 6 when they hosted the Binghamton Senators.

Many Canadiens’ top-rated prospects just a few strides away from the NHL have contributed to the Bulldogs’ success so far this season, including forwards Ben Maxwell and Brock Trotter, defensemen P.K. Subban and Yannick Weber, as well as netminder Cédrick Desjardins.

The Bulldogs’ first game at the Bell Centre was held on March 18, 2007, against the Syracuse Crunch, weeks before the first Calder Cup championship in franchise history. The Canadiens’ current roster features six Bulldogs Alumni from the 2006-07 championship edition: netminder Carey Price, defenseman Ryan O’Byrne, as well as forwards Kyle Chipchura, Matt D’Agostini, Andrei Kostitsyn and Maxim Lapierre. On November 30, 2008, the Bulldogs played host to the Binghamton Senators before some 14,000 fans at the Bell Centre.
