Due to unforeseen circumstances, Steely Dan has been forced to cancel their second show at Montreal’s Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier on Sunday, November 29th.   The band’s Saturday, November 28th performance, at which they will play a complete live rendition of landmark album Aja, will go on as planned. This date will also mark the conclusion of the iconic band’s North American “Rent Party ’09 Tour.”

Ticket holders for the cancelled performance on Sunday, November 29th are invited to exchange their tickets for seats at the show on November 28th -- exchanges must be done at the Place Des Arts Box Office. Steely Dan have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and helped define the soundtrack of the '70s with hits including “F.M.,” “Bodhisattva,” “Reelin’ in the Years,” “Rikki Don't Lose That Number,” “Deacon Blues,” “Peg,” “Babylon Sisters,” and “Hey Nineteen,” culled from their seven platinum albums issued between 1972 and 1980. They reunited in the early '90s and have toured throughout the decade and beyond, releasing multi-Grammy winner Two Against Nature in 2000 and its acclaimed follow-up Everything Must Go in 2003. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
