MÖTLEY CRÜE - Bell Centre, February 5, 2010

 
Gillett Entertainment Group is pleased to announce the Montreal return of Mötley Crüe. “The Dead Of Winter Tour” will hit 10 cities across Canada in January and February of 2010, and the band will take center stage at the Bell Centre on February 5th!   

The band’s last performance in Montreal was in June of 2008 when they delivered an energy-filled headlining set on the second day of the HEAVY MTL Festival. Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx says: ”Canada has always been one of Mötley Crüe’s most supportive markets.  We look forward to going up there again and rocking people’s faces off.”

On November 17, 2009 Mötley Crüe,released an updated Greatest Hits album in the United States and Canada.  The Mötley Crüe Greatest Hits features 19 of the Crüe’s biggest hit songs on one disc including “The Animal in Me (Remix).”

Mötley Crüe recently returned to the top of the charts with Saints of Los Angeles, their first new studio album with the original line-up -- Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil -- in a decade and the ninth studio album in their career.  Based on the band’s New York Times bestseller The Dirt, the disc debuted at #1 on the Independent Album chart and was the top debut of the week on the Billboard Top 200 albums at #4.  “Saints of Los Angeles,” which was nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at the Grammy Awards, was also noted as the #1 Rock Song of the Year in 2008 by iTunes critics.

As a special guest, we will count on the legendary guitarist, Aerosmith co-founding member, songwriter and producer Joe Perry, who has hit the road with Joe Perry Project in support of his fifth solo CD.  In addition to Perry on guitar and vocals, are bassist David Hull (Buddy Miles Band and Joe Perry Project in the 80s), keyboardist/guitarist Paul Santo, (Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton and Ozzy Osbourne), drummer Marty Richards and lead singer Hagen, who was discovered by Perry’s wife on YouTube.  Perry’s new hard-driving self-written, self-produced 10-song collection, Have Guitar, Will Travel, features his trademark rock and roll based ferocity, as well as the CD’s first single, “We’ve Got A Long Way To Go.”  The release of Have Guitar, Will Travel follows self-produced solo releases including Let The Music Do The Talking (1980), I've Got The Rock 'N' Rolls Again (1981), Once A Rocker, Always A Rocker (1983), ) and 2005’s Joe Perry, which earned Perry his first solo Grammy nomination.
