CHARLOTTE GAINSBOURG - January 28 at l'Olympia

Charlotte Gainsbourg will perform select North-American dates and the first stop to be announced is at the Olympia on January 28th for her Montreal concert debut.

For this third venture into record making, (the first one was Charlotte Forever, an album created by her father Serge Gainsbourg in 1986), the much loved actress enlisted the aid of one of America’s most prolific and multi-talented artists, Beck and released IRM on December 8th.  The first single, “Heaven Can Wait” is already a hit, and renowned music magazine Spin ranked it among the Top 20 videos of 2009.

In 2006, her second album entitled 5 :55  was produced by the French duo Air and reached the top position in the French album charts. Following this sophomore effort, Charlotte decided to work with Beck to offer us a new musical world of its own, where la chanson française and American roots can gainfully cross-pollinate.
